What to bring?

Clothing suitable for a tropical climate and swimwear.

  • Shorts,
  • Swimsuit/bathingsuit/bikini,
  • tank-tops,
  • short-sleeve shirts,
  • summer skirts,
  • sandals or other footwear that you don't mind getting wet,
  • raingear,
  • and a light jacket or fleece for the evenings.

If your vacation is during the months from October to February then raingear would prove to be useful.

Occasional showers are possible during other months of the year but unlikely.

If you are planning any activities including day treks or horseback rides then the appropriate footwear is also needed.

Lastly, remember to bring insect repellant. Its cheaper on the mainland then on the island.
